Shooting people is what I love to do. Not with projectiles, but with snaps of the shutter.

In the grand scheme of things I'm pretty new to photography. A handful of years ago I bought my first camera. I did what any college kid would do and roamed around the streets of Portland shooting mail boxes and graffiti and snapping shots of my friends being idiots at 2am.

The more I shot the more I felt something inside me stirring. It was an inkling of the idea that I might actually want to do this as a career. Crazy, I know. A "Millennial" who actually knows what he wants to do with his life!

When I decided to go to school for photography I didn't know what to expect. I was a hobbyist photographer and a visual artist driven by an intense desire to capture life one frame at a time. Two years later I emerged an enlightened man. I learned to entwine my creative vision into all of the aspects of my craft.

I love to shoot people. I love to tell stories through single moments captured at the blink of an eye. It's what keeps me going. It's what keeps me up at 2am.
